More Accidental Hearts--and I'm Not Alone

Here are two more in the continuing string of accidental hearts. These two are sweet--from a cinnamon roll and a flower petal.

What's interesting beyond the beauty and serendipity of these items is the sense of attention to detail around me that the search for accidental hearts requires. I'm always on the lookout, my trusty cell phone in my left front pocket, ready for that stain in the road, that fortuitous cloud formation, arrangement of raisins in the rice pudding. And with every one I think about my wife, who will be the first to receive the image.

And, I've discovered that someone else has the same idea--so check them out, too.

Accidental Hearts II

Here are a couple more accidental hearts. I've collected and sent these to my wife for a while. The one to the left I took this morning--it's a leaf.
So, imagine my surprise and happiness when I received one from her today. It's a scone crumb. (see below)

See--tiny but very heartlike.

On the other side of things, how about a disgruntled box? (scroll down)

The world is full of things "looking at you."

Accidental Hearts Collection, Part 1

I collect images of accidental hearts.

When I see one, I photograph it and immediately send it to my wife. I think she appreciates the attention, although some of them are very odd looking.

I'll post these hearts here now too, along with other interesting images I capture as I test drive life.
